Bharat box office collection day 7: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif-starrer stays stable; expected to cross Rs 175 crore today | Bollywood Life

Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial, Bharat, which stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, had a great run at the box office untill Sunday. However, it saw a drastic fall on Monday, as the film collected only Rs 9.20. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh posted a tweet saying, “Bharat dips, after a long, rich weekend… Will have to speed up on remaining weekdays [Tue to Thu] and also in Weekend 2… Now second highest grosser of 2019, after crossing lifetime biz of Kesari and Total Dhamaal in 6 days.” But things seem to have improved yesterday when the collections remained stable, increasing the chances of the film becoming the highest grosser of 2019. Taran has today tweeted, “#Bharat is steady on Day 7… Should cross ₹ 175 cr today [Day 8]… Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr, Sat 26.70 cr, Sun 27.90 cr, Mon 9.20 cr, Tue 8.30 cr. Total: ₹ 167.60 cr. India biz.”

Bharat, which is the official adaption of Korean film, Ode To My Father, sees Salman Khan in five different avatars, as he ages from 18 years to 72 years. Apart from Salman, the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi and Aasif Sheikh in pivotal roles. Bharat is the third collaboration of director Ali Abbas Zafar with Salman Khan after Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. The movie is jointly produced by Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan under the Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series banners. the film released on June 5 on the occasion of Eid.
