Miley Cyrus has melted hearts with her emotional tribute to her "favourite dude" Liam Hemsworth .
The newlyweds, who tied the knot in a cosy ceremony at their Tennessee home on December 23, are very much still in their honeymoon phase.
Celebrating her husband turning 29, Miley, 26, wished Liam a happy birthday and went on to gush over their ten-year romance in the letter.
Sharing an insight into their relationship the Wrecking Ball singer said she loved finding Liam’s dirty socks on the floor "because it means you’re home", how they speak their own language, how he listens and how he adores their many pets.
Miley joked that she didn’t even mind that Liam shrank her favourite t-shirts when doing laundry because she loved the fact she had a husband who did it at all.
In the letter she wrote: "L, HBD [Happy Birthday] to my #1′.
"When we met you were 19, today you are 29… I thought I could share some of my favourite things about my favourite dude in honor of this very special day."
She shared how much she loved the way he looked at her and the ocean, and how when checking the weather he goes outside instead of checking on his phone.
"The look on your face when you receive good news and how you look AT the bad news. I love how you always try things your way, but are never to[o] proud to ask for help. (Yes, I’ve noticed and taken note, I’m a work in progress). The way you paint, the colors you choose …
"I love your dirty socks on the floor cause that means YOU’RE HOME.
"I love when you introduce me to a new band, so when you’re away I can listen, and it feels like you’re here."
After posting the lengthy note to her actor beau, Miley posted a throwback to the beginning of their relationship a decade ago.
The image has a timestamp of July 13, 2009, when the couple filmed their first movie together The Last Song .
She had already shared a video of Liam energetically dancing along to a song while they sat at home as Miley giggled away.
The couple, who started dating after starring together in the movie, sparked rumours they’d married in a low-key ceremony when pictures emerged on Christmas Eve.
The pair, who got engaged six years ago, were seen cutting their wedding cake in one of a series of photos and videos from the event on social media.
