Strictly Come Dancing’s Kate Sivlerton has revealed she was "crawling on the floor" during rehearsals because of her horrific rib injury.
The broadcaster appeared with Aljaz Skorjanec on It Takes Two, and revealed how painful her rib injury was during their training for the Argentine Tango.
Craig Revel Horwood called it "stuck in the mud," and awarded the dance a measly four, as the pair got one of their lowest scores to date.
Kate told Zoe Ball: "On the Friday at about five o’clock, Aljaz picked me up in the rehearsals… and I felt this pop and thought, ‘that’s not good,’ then an hour later I was crawling along the corridor.
"The muscle came off the rib and we knew we wouldn’t get the chance to do it again so we just powered through… but I’m sad I couldn’t give it 100 %."
She also revealed she is holding her rib with "tape," which she hopes will help her through the dance as she tries her best to nail it in the Quickstep.
On Craig’s "mud" comment, Aljaz joked they were stuck in "gorgeous mud" as Zoe praised Kate’s various "Tango faces" in her dances throughout the series, saying she would give "Posh Spice a run for her money."
Speaking of this week’s Quickstep, which will be themed as a wedding, Kate revealed: "To be honest the first one [rehearsal today] was really good; the second one, I got the giggles because we were chatting; and the third, we were a bit tired."
Kate suffered the setback on Friday after she cracked a rib in rehearsals, and then tweeted a string of videos in which she collapsed into giggles while inhaling pain medication.
As a doctor attended to her, Kate began laughing and said to the camera: “The last time I did this was in childbirth which was really good, actually I’ve forgotten how good it was.
