Adele and her ex-husband Simon Konecki are "still really good friends" following their divorce, their pal Sid Owen has revealed.

The superstar singer, 33, announced she had separated from 47 year old businessman Simon – who she married in 2018 – in April 2019, filing for divorce five months later.

Someone Like You hitmaker Adele's divorce from Simon was finalised in March this year, with them sharing joint custody of their eight year old son Angelo.

But despite their divorce, the pair are still as close friends, their former EastEnders star pal Sid, who was best man at Simon's wedding to Adele, has explained in an exclusive interview with OK!.

As he announces his engagement and pregnancy with partner Victoria Shores, 49 year old Sid spilled on his wedding guest list.

When asked if Adele would be invited to nuptials, he said: "Well she’s not with my best friend Simon [Konecki] any more but, of course, out of respect she will be invited.

"They are actually still really good friends, they still get on well, so if she can make it, then definitely."

Following her divorce, Adele has dropped a whopping seven stone and is now dating American sports agent Rich Paul.

Rich is the CEO and Founder of Klutch Sports Group, as well as being the head of UTA Sports.

He has some big names under his management, including LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons and Eric Bledsoe.

Rich and Adele's romance was confirmed after they were spotted together at Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

The Grammy-winning singer was referred to as Rich's "girlfriend" by ESPN's Brian Windhorst at the time.

Discussing their relationship, a source told People in July: "It's not super serious, but they're having a good time.

"They have mutual friends in common, so that's been nice. She's having fun and being social. [Adele] has relaxed a lot.

"She's not quite as private as when she was married.

"She is living her life and doing great. She is having a great summer with [her son] Angelo. They are spending most of their time in LA."
