Brahmastra: It’s a hat-trick for Alia Bhatt in 2022; a look at the star’s biggest openers

Brahmastra in two days has collected Rs. 70 crore nett (Hindi) at the box office. On its day one, the film collected Rs. 32 crore nett (Hindi) which is excellent. While Ranbir Kapoor desperately needed a hit, it’s a hat-trick for Alia Bhatt at the box office this year as apart from Brahmastra, RRR and Gangubai Kathiwadi did well at the box office. Brahmastra has proved to be Alia’s biggest opener as it minted Rs. 32 crore on day 1.


Kalank failed to make a mark at the box office. But, the movie had opened very well at the box office. On its day one, it collected Rs. 21.60 crore and it’s Alia’s second biggest opener.

RRR (Hindi)

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is one of the biggest hits of the year. Though Alia had a small role in the film, the actress impressed one and all with her performance in it. The Hindi version of the film had collected Rs. 20.07 crore on its day one.

Gully Boy

Safeena is one of the most memorable characters played by Alia. Gully Boy is Alia’s fourth biggest opener as on day 1 it collected Rs. 19.40 crore at the box office.


Shaandaar was a disaster but for Alia it’s her fifth highest opener. The film, which also starred Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, collected Rs. 13.10 crore on day one at the box office.
