The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ actor, 39, will return to the nation’s screens tonight as he appears on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ on ITV. Jonathan will also welcome Joanna Lumley, Usain Bolt, Shalom Brune-Franklin and Holly Willoughby to his sofa. Damon Albarn, the lead singer of Blur and Gorillaz, will also perform a song as he prepares to complete his UK tour. Jamie has delighted fans with the ‘Fifty Shades’ trilogy since the first film was released six years ago, starring alongside Dakota Johnson in the steamy adaptations of EL James’ books.
But despite his accomplished on-screen moments in the bedroom, in real life Jamie has admitted to being “kept awake” in bed by Brexit.
The actor, who hails from Northern Ireland, opened up about his thoughts on the UK’s withdrawal from the EU in 2018.
The star took part in an in-depth interview for ‘Eamonn Mallie: Face to Face with… Jamie Dornan’ on Northern Ireland’s UTV channel.
Jamie said: “I am kept awake at night for what it means for this country.
“I can’t really see a sort of sound solution, some of the people who have a say in it over here break my heart a little bit.

“I think this is the last thing that this country needs at the moment, and I just don’t see how there’s a positive outcome for Northern Ireland in the matter.”
Northern Ireland has been a major sticking point between the UK and the EU at various points in the Brexit process.
Now the UK has left the EU, Northern Ireland is still central to the negotiations between both parties.
London and Brussels are currently engaged in protracted talks to hammer out a compromise to alleviate trade difficulties in Northern Ireland.
Supply chains to the country from the rest of the UK have been hampered post-Brexit by stringent EU rules at the Northern Irish border, which are mandated by Brussels.
Speaking in his interview, long before the latest round of UK-EU talks, Jamie said: “There’s lots of different very interesting options on the table.
“I think they should all be seriously considered – but who knows where we will end up?”
The star’s appearance tonight via video link is reported to see him open up further about his ‘Fifty Shades’ experience.
Jamie is poised to address bizarre fan theories that he and his co-star Dakota had children together.
The Mirror quoted him as telling Jonathan: “There’s a lot of absurd fan theories about that world and those characters and that Dakota Johnson and I have children together.

“I don’t know where we keep them. I’ve got three of my own kids to worry about.”
Jamie has three children, Dulcie, Alberta, and Elva, with musician Amelia Warner, who he tied the knot with in 2013.
He previously dubbed parenthood the “most magical thing in the world” when he spoke to ‘This Morning’ in 2016.
He also said: “I want to be busy, but I’m also aware I’m a young father and I want to spend time with my kids.
“So, they come everywhere with me, which we can afford to do at the moment before they start school.”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ is on ITV tonight from 10:05pm-11:10pm.
