Cheryl received a standing ovation after her performance in hit production 2:22 A Ghost Story on Wednesday night at London's Lyric Theatre.
The singer, 39, impressed the audience with her performance as lead character Jenny on 1 February, after taking over the role from TV presenter Laura Whitmore, 37.
Cheryl was left tearful following the audience's overwhelming reaction to the show, and right at the front of the theatre cheering her on were her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.
Kimberley, 41, and Nicola, 37, were bursting with pride for her bandmate, and both took to social media to congratulate her.
Kimberley sweetly penned: "So b****y proud of this one @cherylofficial She was AMAZING," with a crying face emoji, while Nicola wrote: "AMAZING!!!" before tagging Cheryl.
The pair were also joined by Lauren Silverman, 45, who is the wife of Simon Cowell, in the audience on Wednesday evening.
A source in the audience told MailOnline: "Tears could be seen rolling down Cheryl’s cheeks during the curtain call, in which the cast received a standing ovation.
"Right at the front cheering her on were her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, alongside Lauren Silverman. There wasn’t a single hiccup during the performance."

The insider added: "She's certainly proven herself worthy of the role, after surprising fans with the unexpected career move."
Cheryl later headed to 100 Wardour Street in London for the official 2:22 A Ghost Story afterparty, where she partied the night away with her co-stars and bandmates.
The mum-of-one looked stunning in a camel maxi dress with ruched detailing, while Kimberley sported a red and black floral number. Nicola looked glam in a sparkly mini dress with her auburn locks styled in a feathered bob.
Cheryl opened up about her new venture and the pressure of her Girls Aloud bandmates coming to watch her perform in a new interview on Lorraine on Thursday.
Speaking about Kimberley and Nicola being in the audience, the 39 year old admitted: “That, I don’t like. It’s an emotional thing. Because we’ve had so many emotional moments together, I know how they’ll be feeling and thinking, and before a show I can’t handle the emotion of them being proud and of them being like, ‘I know you’re going to be…’ I don’t want to hear from them until after the show.”
She also revealed that when she first came to watch the play, prior to taking part in it, there was a "weird familiarity".
“And I wonder if that’s because the writer is a Geordie?… I could feel it would be a right fit. I mean, there’s lots of swearing and shouting!… But no, it just felt fun," Cheryl said.
2:22 A Ghost Story, by Danny Robins, stars Cheryl, Louise Ford, Scott Karim and Jake Wood, and is in theatres until 23 April 2023.
Cheryl takes over the role of Jenny from Laura Whitmore, and prior to this singer Lily Allen portrayed the character.
