Dolly Parton and Barry Gibb teamed up for “Words,” a song originally released as a single by the Bee Gees in 1968.
Gibb released the new cover version of the song on Thursday (December 31).
The song, which Gibb wrote the song with his late brothers Robin and Maurice, has been covered by several artists, including Elvis Presley, Glen Campbell, Roy Orbison, and Rita Coolidge.
“Words,” which topped the charts in Canada, Germany, Holland and Switzerland, featured in a crime movie in 1968.
Gibb is set to release his new album, Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1 on January 8.
