‘Having kids at weddings is like Jurassic Park – ban them!’ says Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood has made her feelings very clear whilst speaking on the subject of children at weddings.

The reality star, 31, said that kids shouldn't be invited altogether, as she compared the experience of having youngsters at weddings to like being in Jurassic Park.

Olivia gave a passionate rant on the topic ahead of getting married to her fiancé Bradley Dack as she unleashed her thoughts on the Private Parts podcast, telling host Jamie Laing: “Kids at a wedding for me is absolutely unacceptable.”

“I agree!” Jamie, 34, replied in fits of laughter.

“Unacceptable,” Olivia continued, adding: “Even if I had my own children, I wouldn’t invite them."

She went on: “I haven’t got a baby yet, so I don’t know that love that they talk about, but when I see the bride with like, this little thing hanging off her dress, its little grubby hands, I’m like ‘what the f***?’”

Jamie proceeded to crack up with laughter at Olivia’s thoughts on the topic.

Not done with her rant, she said: “You’re wearing a Vera Wang silk dress, you put your little grubby, chicken-finger hands all over it…no way.

“Can you imagine when you’re doing the vows and you hear like ‘Aahhhhh!’ Jurassic Park. I’d be like ‘shut the f*** up.”

Olivia and footballer Bradley met in 2015, two years prior to her appearance on Love Island where she met fellow contestant Chris Hughes. After her split from Chris, Olivia reunited with Bradley and they got engaged in 2019 whilst on holiday in Dubai.

Olivia’s journey to getting married hasn’t been smooth, as she and Bradley have postponed their wedding twice due to his work commitments.

Last year, Olivia confirmed that the pair are finally set to tie the knot in June 2023, having booked a wedding venue.

She’d shared her initial hopes of eloping to Las Vegas to get married to Bradley in a Q&A, but revealed the couple decided against it, as Bradly wants to get hitched closer to home.

Speaking about the upcoming nuptials, Olivia told fans at the time: “We are booked for June 2023. I want to elope and get married in Vegas, Brad doesn't want to.

"He wants to have the traditional wedding. He thinks I will regret it in the future, which maybe I would."

Olivia explained: "I’m just not really a wedding girl. I never dreamt about getting married when I was younger.

"I dreamt of getting the engagement ring and running away! Joke lol! But anyway, yeah, I have my dress, we have the venue, we have the best wedding planner in the whole world."
