Jacqueline Jossa was cruelly mum-shamed for her choice of school shoes for her daughters Ella and Mia.

The former EastEnders actress, 30, shared a video on Instagram and explained she had “beaten the rush” weeks before the girls are expected to return to school after the summer holidays.

In the adorable clip, both Mia and Ella could be seen sporting their dresses paired with their new school shoes.

Jacqueline – who was promoting a paid partnership with Deichman UK – captioned the post: “Brownie points for me! I’m getting ahead of the Back to School rush with the help of @deichmann_uk, who are offering buy one get one half price on all kids’ school shoes.

“With brands like like Kickers, Nike and Hush Puppies there’s something for every kid.”

Some social media users took issue with the cost of the school shoes while others claimed the children would grow out of them quickly.

One person remarked: “£30 for school shoes that will be scuffed in minutes don’t seem fair to me.”

Another commented: “Wouldn’t last my bam bam two minutes, unfortunately, a waste of money for us.”

A third wrote: “What happens if between now and back to school, they grow out of the shoes, always good to be ahead if the rush, but maybe a tad too far ahead…”
