Jameela Jamil and boyfriend James Blake hold hands and look stylish

Jameela, 37, and her boyfriend James, 34, looked stylish in matching black outfits while they walked around New York City as they held hands.

The presenter and activist wore a black sequined jacket with matching trousers that glistened in the daylight. She wore a black hoodie under her impressive jacket and paired the outfit with some black lace-up trainers, topped off with some circular sunglasses.

Musician boyfriend James, 34, matched in black from head to toe, wearing a black jacket and matching trousers, trainers, and a black satchel bag over his body.

The stylish couple first sparked dating rumours in 2015 when Jameela posted a photo of them both together during a birthday celebration. Their relationship was confirmed later that year when they attended the Wimbledon Tennis Championships together.

The sweet snap of the couple follows after Jameela talked candidly about her battle with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, as she hopes to raise awareness of the rare condition.

She talked about the condition after being accused by internet trolls of suffering from Munchausen Syndrome. In December 2022, she candidly talked to her followers and showed them her "elastic" skin by pulling on her cheeks, which is caused by Ehlers-Danlos.

She said to the camera: "Hi look at this, Jesus Christ, this is not an app or filter. It's my face, look at how elastic that is. The reason it's so elastic is because I have EDS, I have HEDS three, the H because I'm so hyper mobile.

"The joints, nothing bends the right way, everything bends the wrong way. I want to talk about it despite the fact people like to make fun of me because of my health.”

She emphasised the severity of the condition and said it is a “dangerous” thing to have “if you don’t know you have it”.

Jameela said: "It's a serious condition and affects every part of your body and your mind and it's a dangerous thing to have if you don't know you have it."

Discussing how the condition impacts her day-to-day life, she said: "The way it affects bruising, bleeding, healing, if you want to have a baby… I don't drink, smoke, do drugs.

"I'm worried at the fact I'm disadvantaged with my health, it means you dislocate, your teeth are harder to work on, your struggles with migraines, random allergies."

She finished the video by encouraging those with similar symptoms to visit their doctor.

I'm not a doctor but that's why I want you to go to a doctor… if you're struggling with your joints and accidents all the time, please look at the symptoms.

"It really can save your life. The people who have it really look well. I love you, I'm with you, go get checked!"
