Pop sensation Jamelia shocked viewers of BBC series Celebrity Masterchef this week, when she revealed her age to judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
Many fans were convinced that the singing sensation was in her late 20's or early 30's, but it soon emerged that this isn't the case as Jamelia mentioned her age on the show.
The stylish star, who first shot to fame in the early 00’s with tracks that included Superstar, revealed to the judges that she was 42, something that stunned many viewers at home, as they couldn’t quite get over her youthful appearance.
One person took to social media to reveal their shock at the news as they wrote: “Jamelia is just stunning. How does she have 4 kids ranging from 20 years old down to four months and still look so amazing at 42?”
Meanwhile a second fan commented: “Jamelia needs to drop her skincare routine NOW.”
While a third fan then added: “Jamelia looks amazing.” Another wrote: "Jamelia hasn't aged a day! Truly stunning."
As well as stunning viewers with her age bombshell, she also managed to see judge Gregg get a little starstruck as he admitted he was very excited to meet her, after loving her songs.
In a cheeky request, he then asked her to sing something, prompting the star to belt out Superstar with impeccable style.
Prior to taking part in the show this year, Jamelia revealed that cooking for the judges wasn’t the only thing she was up to, as she admitted the timing of filming had seen her multi-tasking with everything from moving house to starting a new job.
Taking to Instagram, she told her followers: “Only I would take on something like @masterchefuk in the middle of moving house, starting a new job and breastfeeding a newborn.
“But manabadman! So glad i got to do it with these amazing people!”
The MOBO award winning star has wracked up quite the impressive career over the years, with 9 BRIT Award nominations and 3 successful studio albums already under her belt.
In addition to her music, Amelia has also proven to be a highly skilled presenter having appeared as a regular panellist on Loose Women between 2013 and 2016, and most recently has taken on acting in Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.
The much loved star joined the cast earlier this year, playing character Sharon Bailey, a doctor with close family ties to the Devereaux family.
