Judi Love reveals she ‘cried during rehearsals’ ahead of Strictly Charleston dance this weekend

Loose Women star Judi Love has been having the time of her life on Strictly Come Dancing and in her OK! column this week, she opened up about the reaction to her Samba last weekend and why she got a bit teary in rehearsals.

The star, 41, is due to dance the Charleston this weekend with her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima, 27, and the star has been candid about how she's getting on in rehearsals – even revealing she burst into tears at one point.

Judi explained: "This week is Move Week and I'm doing the Charleston. There are a few bits I found really challenging and I had to keep reminding myself to be light on my toes. You think because you’ve done a bit of dancing you should know what you’re doing a little bit, but no I was learning from scratch again!

"I cried during rehearsals as I was in complete shock that I’d managed to do the whole thing! So far a lot of my dances have been about strong, flamboyant women, so I’m looking forward to doing some softer characters."

Judi also spoke about how everyone loved her twerking during last week's episode.

She said: "Everyone loved my twerking during the Samba on Strictly! I’m so happy the judges said I brought the soul of dance to the dancefloor. During training this week, I’ve really learnt that as much as others believe in you, you have to believe in yourself.

"Sometimes you might stop yourself from doing certain things because you’ve convinced yourself you or your body can’t do it. As much as having lovely comments from judges and fans has been great, I’ve been trying to remember to be kind to myself during training, too."

The 41 year old has been hard at work to learn the Strictly routines with the help of her partner, spending hours in a studio practising the moves needed to get the high scores from the judging panel.

However, on Tuesday, things took a bit of a turn as the Loose Women star took to her Instagram stories to post a video of Graziano, 27, with a red mark on his stomach.

"You're so bad…" Judi said as Graziano replied: "Yeah I'm so bad because you just kicked me." Judi then profusely apologised as she said: "I'm sorry!"

Over this, she wrote: "@grazianodiprima So sorry," followed by a kissing emoji.

Judi, who recently shared a rare photo of her son, then accidentally kicked him for a second time during their training session as she panned the camera onto the side of his stomach to reveal another red mark.

"My God," Judi said as he insisted: "It's fine! Let's go, keep practice."

Judi apologised once more as she wrote over the short clip: "I just kicked him again," with a sad face emoji, a facepalm emoji, and a praying hands emoji.

The incident was quickly put to one side as the pair continued to have fun dancing in preparation for the next show, which airs on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, Graziano shared a clip of them doing a TikTok, where the pair could be seen walking down a set of stairs to Tiesto's The Business before performing a coordinated dance.
