Kate Ferdinand has revealed she had a "very testing" weekend with her son Cree following a series of tantrums during a day trip.
The former The Only Way is Essex star, 31, shared an honest parenting post on Sunday evening as she reflected on her busy weekend, admitting that she was "glad" it was time for two year old Cree to go to bed.
Mum of one Kate, who shares Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand, revealed she'd taken Cree, along with step-children Tate, 14, and Tia, 11, on a day out on Saturday but the family outing proved tricky with Cree's tantrums.
"Hold mummy's hand please. 'NO!' and walks crossed armed everywhere," Kate penned, explaining what her two year old son had been doing.
"This boy is the cutest, funniest boy but the tantrums we've had this weekend have been very testing I'm glad it's bed time! Lool," the star admitted.
She went on to joke that Tate and Tia even "needed a break" after the day out but then gushed over her son, branding him "funny and sweet".
Kate added: "Even Tate & Tia needed a break after our trip out on Saturday morning BUT in the next breathe he's been so funny and sweet, kids eh? you don't know whether you're coming or going."
The 31 year old's honest post comes after she shared she's expecting her second child with ex-footballer Rio, 44, and has opted to undergo a voluntary C-section following Cree's traumatic birth.
Kate welcomed their son Cree into the world back in 2020 under less-than-ideal circumstances, having endured hours of labour before doctors were forced into performing an emergency C-section.
She's now decided to take matters into her own hands and have a planned C-section with her second child, who is due to be born later this year.
Kate revealed on the Motherkind podcast: "I'm having a C-section because I had to have an emergency one last time, and that's OK.
"Last time, I had an emergency C-section, and I had all the way pushing and then it went wrong. I've kind of had both births [already]… I think I know what I'm doing and I'm hopeful that it might be easier," she told host Zoe Blaskey.
Kate and Rio are already parents to Cree and the ex-footballer has three children, Lorenz, 16, Tate and Tia, from his first marriage to late wife Rebecca Ellison, who tragically passed away after a brief battle with cancer in 2015.
