Katie Price, 42, called an ambulance for her 18-year-old son Harvey Price during her daughter Princess’ 13th birthday party after he complained chest pains feeling like “needles”.
He kept complaining about chest pains and said it was like needles
A representative for the former model confirmed he was being tested at a local hospital after falling ill with symptoms which required “urgent medical attention”.
Today, Katie shared a video on her YouTube channel to give fans an update about her son’s health.
She was seen sitting in front of her son, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, as he laid down to rest on her sofa.
She said: “I called an ambulance because Harvey has got complex needs anyway.
“He kept complaining about chest pains and said it was like needles, so straight away because of his complex needs, [I thought] ‘Do I call the doctor or do I call the ambulance?’
“I don’t like it when people waste ambulances time because a lot of people to do that.
“Harvey is at high risk anyway at the moment due to coronavirus.”
Katie went on to say Harvey underwent a ECG and a blood test.
She added: “The problem was when they pressed down on his chest they said it was quite muscular.
“Some people can pull a muscle in their sleep or when working out, but in Harvey’s situation, clearly he doesn’t work out.
“They said if you pushed down and it hurts, it came sometimes be like a blood clot.
“So, just for safety they took him to hospital. They think he’s just got a chest infection coming, that’s it.
“Luckily, he is home.”
Katie then turned to her son and asked how he was feeling, to which he replied: “I feel good.”
