Love Island viewers were in fits of giggles as they watched Casey O’Gorman play the trumpet during the series talent show during Monday’s episode.
The recruitment consultant, 26, was seen wearing a black dinner suit and a gold bow tie as he took his place centre stage in front of his fellow Islanders.
He held the brass instrument up to his mouth and proceeded to play a version of Happy Birthday.
However, his efforts left a lot to be desired with the other villa residents as plowed through his pitchy performance, with the show stars falling about with tears of laughter.
Taking to Twitter, viewers compared the moment to last year’s talent show when Indiyah Polack, 23, put on a rather dodgy performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the recorder.

Déjà vu: Viewers compared the moment to last year’s talent show when Indiyah Polack, 23, put on a rather dodgy performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the recorder
One person tweeted: ‘It’s giving redo of indiyah moment with Casey,’ while another viewer noted: ‘Casey you’ll never be Indiyah.’
Someone else shared: ‘Indiyah’s performance definitely influenced Casey today.’
While another viewer wrote: ‘I hope someone recorded their dog reacting to Casey. We need another Indiyah laugh.’
‘Casey with that trumpet is just as bad as Indiyah with her recorder LMFAOOOO,’ laughed another viewer.
While someone else posted: ‘As if Casey’s talent was to ride on someone elses coat tails… bore off Casey, you’re no match for Indiyah.
Another person joked: ‘The spirit of indiyah possessed Casey.’
And someone else shared: ‘I’m sorry Casey but you will never be as iconic Indiyah sorry not sorry.’
Indiyah left her fellow islanders and the viewers in stitches with her talent show performance last year.
Born to perform: The recruitment consultant was seen wearing a black dinner suit and a gold bow tie as he took his place centre stage in front of his fellow Islanders
The former hotel waitress set social media alight when she attempted to play the recorder for her talent – with hilarious results.
The beauty performed a rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star but ended up playing much of the track out of tune.
The other islanders quickly tried to muffle their laughter, with Tasha Ghouri even covering Andrew Le Page’s mouth.
Indiyah herself started to crack up during the performance and quickly knelt down behind her notes so she couldn’t see her fellow islanders’ faces.
Viewers quickly took to Twitter to react to the hilarious moment, with one writing: ‘Why is Indiyah playing the recorder so funny to me?’
Another wrote: ‘Indiyah on the recorder had me rolling and it’s the way Ekin-Su was being so serious telling Danica to stop laughing.’
Delighted: Viewers could not contain themselves as they watched Casey’s performance unfold on screen
Another viewer wrote: ‘Indiyah babe, guys I’ve never laughed harder at an episode.’
Some fans likened Indiyah’s performance to Millie Court’s in the series seven talent show, where she struggled with her keyboard.
Elsewhere in Monday’s episode, Love Island fans came out in support of Ron Hall after he confronted Samie Elishi following his remarks about show contestants having a game plan.
On Sunday, financial advisor Ron, 25, told some of his fellow Islanders how, having watched the show, hopeful winners got their ‘drama’ out the way earlier on in the series before sailing through to the final.
After some people interpreted Ron as saying this was his personal game plan, his comments were discussed at length by villa residents.
On Monday, Ron took Samie, 22, aside as he felt she’d misunderstood what he’d said before passing his remarks to the others, with viewers claiming the show stars had ‘twisted’ his words.
And series devotees took to Twitter this week to show their support for Ron as they accused the Islanders of ‘bullying’ him.
Standing strong: Love Island fans came out in support of Ron Hall, 25, on Monday after he confronted Samie Elishi, 22, following his remarks about show contestants having a game plan
Confrontation: On Monday, Ron took Samie aside as he felt she’d misunderstood what he’d said before passing his remarks to the others
One person wrote: ‘Ngl this is starting to feel like bullying towards Ron.’
Someone else posted: ‘This villa is so horrible I feel so sorry for Ron,’ while someone else shared: ‘Quite ridiculous how they’re all ganging up on Ron.’
Another person posted: ‘I’ll even vote Ron and Lana because I can’t support bullying, Samie to Ofcom.’
While someone else shared: ‘Need to get Ron & Lana into the final to crush everyone ganging up on them, they can have 2nd place. Kai and Sanam 1st place.’
Another sympathetic viewer wrote: ‘I want to cuddle Ron he’s defo a people pleaser,’ while someone else shared: ‘Low-key feel very bad for Ron.’
‘They need to shut up n leave Ron alone,’ protested another viewer.
However, suspicious of Ron, another viewer posted: ‘If you’ve not got a game plan then why you so rattled Ron?’
While someone else shared: ‘Surely if you weren’t game playing you wouldn’t be bothered about anyone opinions….. trying too hard here Ron This clearly wasn’t in the game plan.’
Controversial: On Sunday, Ron told his fellow Islanders how, having watched the show, hopeful winners got their ‘drama’ out the way earlier on in the series before sailing through to the final
It comes after Love Island fans were livid during Sunday night’s episode as they accused the contestants of trying to sabotage Ron and Lana.
Financial adviser Ron, 25, was seen confronting Shaq Muhammad, 24, after he queried whether Ron was being genuine with make-up artist Lana, 25.
The couple were left unimpressed after Shaq suggested they were in the top three most game-playing couples during the recent ranking challenge.
After chatting to Shaq, Ron was unable to drop the situation later in the episode, speaking to Tom, Samie, Kai and Sanam around the fire pit.
In doing so he said felt people thought he and Lana had tried to have ‘drama nice and early’ in the show before ‘getting comfy’ and cruising to the end.
Opinion: Series devotees took to Twitter this week to show their support for Ron as they accused the Islanders of ‘bullying’ him, while some were convinced he had a game plan
The group then went on to discuss Ron’s comments, with many Islanders insisting Ron had a firm game plan to win the show.
Insisting this was not the case, many viewers took to Twitter to defend Ron, with some claiming his fellow villa residents wanted to sabotage them so they themselves could be in with a better chance of winning the series.
One person wrote: ‘I honestly think that who whole villa think that Lana and Ron are going to win so they’re trying to sabotage it by spreading him being a game player. Isn’t it funny how all this bitching is happening now they all know it’s coming to a end. They’re all desperate to win.’
Someone else shared: ‘Biggest game players in there Sammie and Tom / shaq and troll ….Trying to bring Ron down because they get a hint the public don’t buy him n Lana.’
Unimpressed: Love Island fans were livid during Sunday night’s episode as they accused the contestants of trying to sabotage Ron and girlfriend Lana Jenkins

Opinion: The couple were left unimpressed after Shaq (pictured) suggested they were in the top three most game-playing couples during the recent ranking challenge
Another viewer posted: ‘First Jesse was accused of playing a game now it’s Ron’s turn, why aren’t these couples just focused on each other and furthering their love.’
While someone else tweeted: ‘The Ron “game-playing” thing doesn’t even make sense. Ron said as a viewer he thought people who had early drama then coasted are the game players, if that’s the case then why would it be HIS gameplay which is exactly what is happening with Lana??’
‘Judging by that clip what Ron said wasn’t that bad, I think they’ve all been thinking he’s been playing a game from the start and need justification,’ shared another viewer.
Someone else wrote: ‘I hope Ron flips because it’s bang out of order how all them little slime balls are are saying everything under the sun behind his back. The worried him and Lana win end of so , if anyone’s “Game playing”…’
Defence league: Many viewers took to Twitter to defend Ron, with some claiming his fellow villa residents wanted to sabotage them
One other person posted: ‘The way Sammie has spread this whole game plan thing hoping everyone will turn on Ron and it’s only made the public side with him and give him a shot at winning.’
While someone else shared: ‘So Ron is a game player because he found love and a show that’s made to find love… how does that work then.’
Meanwhile, another show fan posted: ‘Watched that clip again and Ron wasn’t at all saying he was playing a game. He’s saying that’s what people think.’
Ron was later fuming after realising the villa had been talking about him.
He told his fellow Islanders: ‘Honestly, I am livid. Who started this? Who started this by the fire pit?
‘The only other two people there were Samie and Tom.
‘I’m in two pieces of mind now because I know you don’t want me to get into drama and I know you don’t want me to flip but I will f**king flip.’
Lana told him: ‘Ron, I’m okay with it right now, because I’m fuming.’
Clearly stressed, Ron went on: ‘Ugh I want to go in calm, I want to go in calm, but this is something I don’t think I’ll be able to go in calm with.’
It comes as Love Island became embroiled in a ‘toxic femininity’ row after women on the show reduced some of the male contestants to tears.
Viewers of the controversial ITV reality series have been left fearing for the mental health of male stars.
Some fans have accused the girls of hypocrisy for celebrating their ‘sisterhood’ but misbehaving in the same way as the men.
Tanya Manhenga, 22, former islander Olivia Hawkins, 27, and Australian Jessie Wynter, 26, were widely considered the ringleaders in the villa.
Last month saw emotional scenes after the Casa Amor stunt, in which men and women are split up, some being put in another villa and all introduced to new singletons.
Controversy: Love Island is embroiled in a ‘toxic femininity’ row after women on the show reduced some of the male contestants to tears
Shocking: Tanya Manhenga, 22, (pictured) Olivia Hawkins, 27, and Australian Jessie Wynter, 26, are widely considered the ringleaders in the villa
Contestant Shaq Muhammad was left in tears after his on-screen partner Tanya Manhenga went off with another competitor, Martin Akinola. Mr Muhammad was devastated and had to be consoled by contestant Tom Clare.
Ms Manhenga then humiliated Mr Akinola when she led him to believe he stood a chance, only to then publicly profess her love for Mr Muhammad.
Meanwhile, farmer Will Young burst into tears after the women jumped to the defence of Jessie Wynter when he kissed another cast member while in Casa Amor. But none of the women condemned Ms Manhenga.
Olivia Hawkins also rounded on contestant Ron Hall for criticising her, despite footage of her making derogatory remarks about other couples, none of which was challenged by the other women.
In addition, Mr Hall was ridiculed and made to feel he was in the wrong for appearing to encourage his fellow male contestants to give new arrivals in Casa Amor a chance.
Yet the women, led by Ms Wynter, were shown to have done the exact same thing in the villa.
This year’s female line-up has been branded the most ‘manipulative and toxic’ in the history of the show. One male viewer said: ‘I’ve never complained to Ofcom but I have tonight. Emotional abuse and bullying isn’t a joke – Tanya and Olivia need talking to.’
A female viewer wrote on Twitter: ‘I never thought I’d be siding with the men. Some of these women are toxic,’ while another tweeted: ‘Toxic femininity at its finest.’
Sad: Shaq burst into tears on Thursday night’s episode after an explosive Movie Night saw him argue with partner Tanya
Tears: Shaq had a heart-to-heart with co-star Tom after the argument, who comforted him as he cried
Upset: After Tanya ignored Shaq in the kitchen, he left the villa, later crying as he spoke to friend Tom Clare
Another wrote: ‘This women empowerment is too toxic for me. It doesn’t hurt to be self-aware, babe. And a bunch of you need to look in the mirror.’
An ITV spokesman said that contestants are trained in inclusive language and behaviour, creating safe spaces and being a good ally.
During the show, Tanya did not apologise to Shaq for her actions which later led to a clash between the pair that later descended into an almighty row.
Fans slammed Tanya for her ‘self-centred and immature’ behaviour, urging producer’s to send in a new partner for him.
One person penned on Twitter: ‘Shaq crying outside the Villa.. his showing guys have feelings, just we don’t try to show it In front of girls.. Yeah give him the 50k now, he’s won over everyone.’
Another added: ‘Shaq crying actually was upsetting to see… Tanya is very self-centered and immature. He deserves better.’
‘Shaq is way too mature for this game. He deserves so much better,’ a third agreed.
Earlier in the show, Shaq reacted to the Movie Night clip of Tanya kissing Martin, he said: ‘So it was just a peck, yeah, and he went to kiss you? So we’re lying now?’
But Tanya stood her ground and said: ‘If you’re looking for something to be angry about, this isn’t it.’
Anger: Twitter was full of furious commenters after the feud, angry at Tanya’s behaviour and that she made him cry
The confrontation led to Shaq later saying to the boys: ‘I cant lie, I feel like she’s a liar, I feel like she’s full of s**t.’
Tanya became irritated, telling Olivia that she did not know what else to do and she felt she kept having to prove her love for Shaq.
After Tanya ignored Shaq in the kitchen, he left the villa, later crying as he spoke to friend Tom.
Twitter was full of furious commenters after the feud, angry at Tanya’s behaviour.
One person wrote: ‘Tanya is actually the WORST person on #loveisland. Biggest gaslighter and hypocrite. Shaq deserves much better.’
Another added: ‘Tanya don’t deserve Shaq’ while a third said: ‘Tanya continues to prove she is too emotionally IMMATURE to be in a relationship.

‘The emotional manipulation she uses on Shaq to continuously justify her bad behaviour is actually MAD… honestly this whole lot of girls left can be chucked. Well except Sanam.’
Meanwhile, a separate person penned: ‘Not Tanya saying the old shaq is back and she doesn’t like it as soon as he shows human emotion… genuine gaslighting! It’s not an old version of him, he’s just hurt and reacting to your b********!’
Love Island was also reportedly hit with Ofcom complaints over ‘alleged racism and bullying’ towards former contestant on this year’s show Zara Lackenby-Brown.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX on Tuesday at 9pm.
