Maya Jama wows in bikini selfie during relaxing spa day before hosting Love Island

Maya Jama has shown off her sensational figure in a tiny bikini as she enjoyed a relaxing spa day ahead of hosting duties on Love Island.

The 28 year old star is due to host the hit ITV2 show for the first time, after taking over from previous host, Laura Whitmore. The winter version of the show is filmed in South Africa and will hit our screens on 16 January.

Before she jets off, though, Maya made sure to make the most of her down time, as she hit up a spa for some relaxation.

Maya made sure to document her trip on Instagram as she snapped a mirror selfie in a zebra print two-piece bikini that showed off her toned midriff.

She wore her long dark hair up in a ponytail and wore eye mask strips under each eye as she pouted for the camera.

In the next Instagram story, Maya looked to be in a sauna as she showed off her red face and wrote: "Should have done this sooner."

Presumably she was referring to the fact that she recently said she was "fighting for her life" after coming down with a dreadful cold following a late night partying at Koko nightclub in Camden on New Year's Eve.

She shared a snap of hot water and lemon and a ginger shot to her Instagram stories and wrote: "Fighting for my life with this cold now though lol I am down!"

Whilst at the spa, Maya spoke to her 2.4million followers on Instagram, as she vowed to show more of the real her on her Instagram stories, saying that her posed grid posts don't reflect who she really is.

Speaking into the camera, Maya said: "I feel like my Instagram doesn't really reflect me unless you watch my Instagram stories.

"My main feed is just like super glam and like…

"When actually, I'm a crust nine times out of ten if I don't have my hair and makeup team, so maybe this year I'll start posting more of that side."

She continued: "I've just thought about it. If I looked on my page, I'd probably think 'posey t**t'".

Maya went on to do an Instagram Q&A, whilst she was "sat here zenning my t***s off" about what hair style her fans thought she should have for the first episode of Love Island.

As one fan answered: "Long curly! Classic Maya," the star revealed that there was a stark difference between her male and female fans' answers.

She wrote: "This is what I was leaning towards (long and curly). It's funny cause most of the boys are saying straight or ponytail and the girls saying curly or wavey."
