Strictly: Oti Mabuse looks back on performing in final
Oti Mabuse was crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion for the second year in a row, lifting the Glitterball trophy with dance partner Bill Bailey last month. Now she has more spare time, the BBC professional has taken to Instagram and shared her “regrets”, in a candid post directed at her co-star Karen Hauer.
The 30-year-old has been finding ways to stay active during England’s third lockdown and looked to her colleague and pal for fitness inspiration.

The dancer explained that she asked Karen to train her but instantly regretted the decision.

Oti’s comments come after the professional dancer announced plans to take part in a joint venture with Karen.
The Strictly duo are offering fans a chance to take part in an active virtual weekend with them next month.
The online festival, Wonder Women Weekend, will see Oti offer fans dance classes while Karen will share workouts.
Oti wrote: “Come and join us for a virtual weekend of fun run by ladies, for ladies! Enjoy dance classes from Oti Mabuse, dance and workouts from @karenhauer , make-up tips from @bryonyblake , meditation with @camilladallerup.
“Facial massage techniques from @brittanywawrykphysio and inspirational talks with elite women in business @rebecca_banks and @lauransinclair. All that, and a virtual party session with DJ Tatyana Grey!”

Elsewhere, Oti has opened up about missing her family amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking on Lorraine, she spoke candidly about being unable to travel overseas.
Oti explained: “The last time I had seen my sister was the Strictly final in 2019 and because of the travel bans I couldn’t go over to see her on her birthday.
“We usually celebrate together so because of Strictly that was the only family member that I could actually see.”
The Glitterball champion went on to talk of her family back home, saying: “I haven’t seen my family in about two years because they’re from South Africa and it’s currently not great in South Africa as well.
“So to have Strictly is another thing that I’m grateful for, even though we were in separate bubbles it was nice that I could actually see her and she was there.”
She explained that Zoom calls have been the best way to keep in contact with her family members.
Oti resides in the UK with her husband Marius lepure, who she tied the knot with in 2012.
