Piers Morgan’s son Spencer, 29, has taken to his own Twitter page to break his silence on his dad’s account being hacked.

It comes after the TalkTV host’s page began posting several X-rated and expletive-ridden tweets overnight, with many of Piers’ 8.3 million followers waking up baffled by the onslaught of bizarre posts.

However, Spencer has now revealed why his dad hasn’t yet spoken out on the situation.

He wrote in view of his 75,000 followers this morning: “Obviously dad’s finally been hacked.

“Ideal when he’s in a different time zone,” Spencer revealed, hinting his dad was probably still asleep and unaware of the chaos that had been unfolding.

Spencer didn’t clarify where in the world Piers had been staying, but the presenter often works in the US as part of his show, Piers Morgan: Uncensored.
