‘There is no feud’: Priscilla Presley, 77, ‘denies she’s battling granddaughter Riley Keough over late daughter Lisa Marie’s will’
Priscilla Presley has reportedly denied she is battling granddaughter Riley Keough over late daughter Lisa Marie’s will.
According to The Mirror the 77-year-old former wife of Elvis Presley, told an Newcastle audience during her UK tour that she an her grandchildren are ‘fine’.
Speaking on stage she told ‘Evening with Priscilla Presley’ host Edith Bowman that the rumours had ‘come out of [hometown] Memphis’ but were ‘not true’.
Lisa Marie sadly passed away in January from cardiac arrest aged 54.
The dispute with Priscilla stemmed from both Keough, 33, and her brother Benjamin – the grandchildren of the late Elvis Presley and children of the late Lisa Marie Presley – who were named trustees to Lisa Marie’s estate in 2016, after she was the sole trustee for years.

Benjamin died by suicide in 2020, meaning the fortune now belongs to Keough. Priscilla is contending the 2016 amendment and has questioned the authenticity of her late daughter’s signatures on the document.
Lisa Marie’s half-brother Navarone Garcia, 36, confirmed his mother Priscilla and niece Riley had been out for dinner in a bid to reconnect.
Asked directly on Instagram if the pair are on speaking terms, he insisted: ‘Yes they are fine. No feud, we did go to dinner, it went great, it’s all good.’
The family hostility continued in a Los Angeles court when Lisa Marie’s ex-husband Michael Lockwood, 61, was granted full custody of their twin girls Harper and Finley, 14, in the wake of her passing.
Lockwood had been in a contentious custody battle for seven years with Lisa Marie, whose side Riley took, as she was upset she was losing time with her half-sisters to him.
Priscilla has been amenable to Lockwood amid recent developments as she seeks to ‘be a part of her grandchildren’s lives,’ a source told People last month.
Lisa Marie, who was a singer–songwriter with three studio album between 2003 and 2012, had just attended the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles with her mother two days before her passing.
The mother and daughter duo made a point to be at the awards show in a show of support for the acclaimed Elvis (2022) biopic from Baz Luhrmann that starred Austin Butler as the legendary King Of Rock And Roll, Elvis Presley.

During her walk along the red carpet of the event, Lisa Marie looked frail and fragile, which prompted her to lean on longtime family friend, Jerry Schilling, who’s now 81-years-old.
While being interviewed by Billy Bush for Extra, she linked arms with Schilling, telling him, ‘I’m gonna grab your arm.’
Both ladies were very open and honest in heaping praise on Luhrmann’s biopic, which focused on Elvis’s 20-plus year relationship with his manager Col. Tom Parker, and Butler’s performance as Elvis.
10 days after her passing, hundred of people attended a public memorial at Graceland in Memphis on January 22, and more than 1.5 million people watched the service via live stream as well.
