Sarah Ferguson has opened up on what kind of her mother she believes her pregnant daughter Princess Eugenie will be when her little one arrives.

The Duchess of York, who reportedly loves how she was portrayed on The Crown, thinks the 30 year old royal will take after her when it comes to raising a child.

“Having not had my own mother around, I’ve always been determined to be a very present mother with my children, and I know Eugenie will be the same with hers,” the 61 year old revealed.

She continued: “She is incredibly empathetic and will be a great mother. She is a very strong and determined person, always looking for the truth in all she does.

She told US Weekly: “This book will be dedicated to my first grandchild.

Fergie added that she is excited to do a "story time" with her grandchild once he's born.

When asked how her daughter and her husband Jack Brooksbank are, the royal replied: “Jack and Eugenie are certainly looking forward to sharing the new baby with the whole family.
