The Puducherry unit of Students Federation of India (SFI) has demanded the Central Board of Secondary Education to grant grace marks to candidates from Puducherry who took the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Tamil.
In a release, A. Anand, secretary of SFI, said of the 8,894 students, who appeared for the NEET in 12 centres in Puducherry, 1,677 students passed the examination.
‘Revise list’
SFI has also urged the Centralised Admission Committee (Centac) to revise the list of qualified candidates from Puducherry based on the verdict of the Madras High Court.
