The decapitated body of a man in his mid-20s was found on the Irugur-Ondipudur stretch of the railway track on Tuesday morning. Podanur Railway Police recovered the body and launched a search operation for the head. They searched for over three hours but could not locate the head. The body has been sent to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for post mortem.
