Vice – President M. Venkaiah Naidu said the education system should be such that students move in a righteous path with discipline and ethics.
Participating as the chief guest at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of V.S. St. John’s Higher Secondary School in Gannavaram on Monday, Mr. Naidu said quality education goes a long way in shaping young minds and teachers should give their best to the youth in the larger interest of the nation.
He observed that Indian culture and traditions were respected around the world and it was the bounden duty of every citizen, particularly the youth, to uphold the country’s dignity. Mr. Naidu said our mother tongue should not be forgotten out of attraction to western culture and lifestyle. He acknowledged the fact that necessary steps were taken to promote Telugu both in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
