Govt. school gets new building

Transport Minister M. R. Vijayabaskar on Saturday said that the State government would create all necessary infrastructure for preparing the students to face competitive examinations.

Speaking at a programme after declaring open two additional buildings at the Government Higher Secondary School in Neithalur near Thogamalai, he said the State had already made several changes in the school syllabus aimed at improving its standard. The move has been appreciated by teachers, parents and students.

The buildings have been constructed at an estimate of Rs. 79 lakh.

Collector T. Anbalagan and senior officials participated.
