Kiran may rejoin Cong. on July 13

The ‘muhurtam’ for the former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, to return to the Congress fold seems to have been finally fixed.

He is likely to rejoin the party on July 13 in New Delhi, according to party sources.

Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy will be companied by APCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy and AICC general secretary and person in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Oommen Chandy when he meets AICC president Rahul Gandhi.

A bigger meeting will be held in the State to welcome him and his followers, sources have said.

The rank and file of the Congress are excited because Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy is going to focus his attention on his long-time rival and YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Two-pronged strategy
