Ensure enforcement of reservations and don’t sacrifice merit. Making this observation, Hyderabad High Court on Thursday directed the Health Universities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States to rerun their ongoing admissions process and furnish the data on Friday.
A Division Bench comprising Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice N. Balayogi gave this interim direction while hearing writ petitions challenging the government order 550 which allowed sliding of seats by meritorious candidates.
A portion of the GO was stayed last year by the HC.
