Commuters on the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line had Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in as fellow passengers on Monday.
The leaders took the Blue Line from Mandi House to reach Noida for inaugurating a Samsung facility there.
“Mr. Modi travelled in the Blue Line with the President of South Korea. They boarded the metro at Mandi House around 4.36 p.m. and travelled to Botanical Garden, leaving the station at 5.02 p.m.,” said a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) official.
On their way back, the leaders boarded the metro from Botanical Garden around 6.56 p.m. and left Mandi House station at 7.21 p.m., the official added.
“They travelled using tokens with others passengers and there was no delay in the Blue Line due to this,” the official said.
