IPLEX-2018, a four-day international plastic exhibition that would feature over 350 participants would get under way on August 3 at Hitex in the city.
The 9th edition in the annual series, the exhibition is expected to receive 30,000 business visitors and generate $100-million business. The event is being hosted by the Telangana and Andhra Plastic Manufacturers’ Association. Addressing a curtain raiser meeting on Tuesday evening, Industries Secretary Jayesh Ranjan hoped the exhibition would be a big success like the one conducted in 2014.
Mr. Ranjan said at the Plastics Park project at Mankhal-Thummalur, the remaining 100 acres would be exclusively allotted to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
