State government should immediately resume the land of Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha and commence constructing District Central Library building without any further delay.
Stating that the one-acre land worth Rs. 100 crore was lying vacant for eight years, president of Poura Grandhalaya Seva Samithi president B.L. Narayana said their long battle to get back the site for the library failed to make any headway. “We are launching a signature campaign involving all the stakeholders. We wanted people to cooperate in intensifying the movement for getting back the library site and make the signature campaign successful,” he said.
