An audio clip of K.B. Ganesh Kumar, vice-president of AMMA, surfaced on Saturday, in which he was heard criticising the four actors who quit the organisation earlier this week in protest against the decision to reinstate actor Dileep in the organisation.
In the sound clip purportedly sent to AMMA general secretary Edavela Babu, he criticises politicians who supported the actors’ decision.
“The actors who resigned have always been against AMMA and have always created trouble. They are not any more active in cinema. They have also not cooperated with AMMA’s mega show. There is nothing wrong in them quitting AMMA and forming another organisation,” he is heard saying. He is heard saying that the AMMA need not be scared over the negative news reports and criticism on Facebook, as it will die down in two days.
Mr. Ganesh Kumar later admitted that the audio clip was genuine. He said it should be investigated as to who leaked it.
