TDP State general secretary and APSRTC chairman Varla Ramaiah on Wednesday took potshots at former TDP leader from Telangana Motkupalli Narasimhulu, who had been expelled from the party recently.
Mr. Narasimhulu neither had the locus standi to criticise Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu nor the right to wage ‘dharma poratam’ against him, he said.
Addressing the media here, Mr. Ramaiah said Mr. Narasimhulu went on a padayatra to Tirumala with a vow to defeat Mr. Naidu. He even asserted that he prayed Lord Venkateswara to fulfil his wish.
“The god will never fulfil his wish as his poratam has no basis and is not genuine,” he said.
Mr. Naidu had given utmost importance to Mr. Narasimhulu though the TDP faced drubbing in Telangana, he said.
