And the movie received the positive response by the movie lovers and critics on its release day. According to the latest report Love Today has collected Rs 2.22 Cr gross at the box office of Telugu states on its release day.

The Tamil version of romantic-comedy Love Today has emerged as a big hit at the box office as it has crossed Rs 50 crores in the state of Tamil Nadu, which is a big number for a film of this size. The film has beaten the collections of top stars movies like Cobra, ET, Naane Varuvaen.
Love Today is the debut movie of the director Pradeep Ranganathan as a lead actor and he has scored a big hit with it.
The movie is competing with Allari Naresh starrer action thriller drama Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam at the box office.
