Delhi Public School, Rohini, took immense pride in celebrating the success and perseverance of the scholars in the Scholar Badge and Award function held for Classes VI – IX on May 5. The event was organised to recognise and honour meritorious students of the Middle and Senior School who excelled in scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The Chief Guest for the function was Rajneesh Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rohini District, Delhi.
The programme was initiated by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Principal Vibha Singh welcomed the august gathering and congratulated the parents on the success of their children. She also, emphasized on the immense responsibility of the parents in bringing out the best in their children.
The Chief Guest talked about ARC triangle – Affinity, Reality and Communication – and their importance in life. He also shared his life experiences to motivate the awardees to be responsible citizens and serve the society in their individual capacity.
