TDP leaders houses and offices attacked

TDP- Telugu Desam Party has issued a call for a statewide Bandh in Andhra Pradesh on 20th October after the party’s head office in Guntur was vandalised by a mob on Tuesday.   The ruling YSRCP workers and supporters, armed with iron rods and sticks, targeted Telugu Desam Party offices across Andhra Pradesh Tuesday evening, and they damaged the property and assaulted workers of the opposition party.

According to the latest report, Several Telugu Desam Party workers were injured in the attacks at the party offices in state capital Vijayawada, Amaravati, Mangalagiri, Visakhapatnam, and all the 13 district offices.  Telugu Desam Party leader K Pattabhiram’s residence at Visakhapatnam was also attacked. Objecting to police notices to former minister Nakka Ananda Babu, Pattabhiram had made some remarks against the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He demanded that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy should resign for failing to maintain law and order in the Andhra Pradesh.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu interacted with the media and he termed it a black day.  Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the ruling YSRCP government  colluded with the police to shield the miscreants who vandalized TDP party offices and attacked  the workers.

N Chandrababu Naidu complained to Union Home Minister and state Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan.
