Forensic team visits crime scene in Rajasthan
A forensic team from Kota on Sunday collected samples from the spot in Mogya Beh village of Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district, where the body of a seven-year-old girl was found on Saturday. The post-mortem has established that the girl was raped and strangled.
The girl’s parents had lodged a complaint with the police, saying that she was playing outside her home after attending a cultural event and had gone missing.
After a search, the police found her body about 250 metres away from her home on Saturday evening. A special team headed by a Deputy Superintendent of Police has launched a massive hunt to nab the accused, suspected to be someone known to the girl.
