Warriors win Game 5 of NBA Finals

Golden State Warriors finished Game 5 of the NBA Finals with a 9-2 run that gave them a 106-105 victory over the Toronto Raptors and helped them force a Game 6 on Thursday in Oakland. Raptors now lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.

Victory for Warriors, however, came at a cost as Kevin Durant, back in the starting line-up after a month away with a right calf strain, injured his right Achilles just 12 minutes into his comeback.


Canada register 1-0 win over Cameroon

A determined Cameroon defence was broken by a Canadian corner set-piece on the stroke of half-time as defender Kedeisha Buchanan arrived late in the box, but headed unchallenged to score the only goal of their game. Canada won the Women’s World Cup match 1-0.
