Bethenny Frankel Calls Bull on Carole Radziwill's Claim She Quit 'Real Housewives of New York City'

Bethenny Frankel shades Carole Radziwill’s claim she’s quitting “The Real Housewives of New York City” with epic tweet suggesting she was fired instead.

Carole Radziwill may be saying she’s choosing to leave "The Real Housewives of New York City," but Bethenny Frankel isn’t buying it.

The Skinnygirl founder took to Twitter on Wednesday evening to set the record straight, at least as she sees it. Without calling anyone out by name, Frankel wrote, "One [cast member] saying they chose to depart and attributing it to me is fiction. It’s healthier to be truthful about a hard situation."

Okay, but we see your shade, Bethenny. Ain’t nobody doubting who you’re talking about with this tweet. It’s also worth nothing that the tweet was conveniently timed to hit right after the terrifying "Boatride from Hell" episode. At least the former BFFs were able to share a moment in the episode, even if it was while Carole was puking her guts up … probably due to seasickness. Those waves were huge!

It was a week ago on July 25 when Carole told People that she was leaving the "Housewives" after this current season, and it’s not because of how sick she got. Instead, the journalist says she’s looking to return to her original passions.

"After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONY, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing," she told People. "My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament." She also joked that she is "thrilled to leave frenemies behind."

But according to Bethenny, this statement is disingenuous, as she is the only "RHONY" cast-member to have left the show by choice (she left to appear in a spinoff and short-lived talk show before returning for Season 7). "Bravo has reasons for asking housewives to return," she wrote. So what is the truth? Did Carole leave, or did Bravo ask her to leave? We may never know.

Neither Bravo nor Carole Radziwill have responded to Bethenny’s claims. "The Real Housewives of New York City" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
