Green Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the pre-primary section at Anand Niketan, Bharuch Campus, Gujarat.
The significance of the colour ‘green’ was reiterated as the tiny tots and teachers came to school attired in eco-friendly green hues. The classrooms were beautifully decorated in the green theme.
The kids were taught to identify green fruits, vegetables, leaves and trees. Creative art and craft activities like Frog, Mushroom, Caterpillar, Tortoise, Green Apple, Peas and Maize pertaining to green colour were done by our tiny tots with the help of their teachers.
They also brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffin boxes.
Teachers explained the different virtues of green and explained the importance of medicinal plants that we get from the green world.
Acts of green conveyed the message that we should not cut trees but plant more trees.
