Roman Kemp says he’d want to be paired with Johannes if he did Strictly
Roman Kemp said he no longer wants to take part in the show because it’s about “who is sleeping with sleeping who”.
The Capital FM presenter said he was recently approached by a show producer who was eager to get him to sign up for Strictly.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 30-year-old commented: “I get asked every year.
“One of the producers walked past me on The One Show the other day saying, ‘I’ll get you on!’
But it doesn’t look like the radio and TV broadcaster will be putting down the mic anytime soon for a pair of dancing shoes.

Roman explained: “I’ve said this in interviews but for me, I would never want to do Strictly because that show is about the talent. How great these dancers are, the emotion etcetera.
“But I feel as of late it’s become about who is sleeping with sleeping who. I don’t really want that type of attention.”
The Celebrity Gogglebox favourite said he would only take part in the show on one condition – if he could be in a same-sex couple.
“That’s why I always said if you can guarantee that I will be in a same-sex couple where we go in there and it’s all about the dance, the talent, the fun and the friendship, then 100 per cent let’s do it,” he mused.

Roman, who has a very busy schedule working early mornings on Capital Breakfast and evenings on The One Show, admitted he would struggle to find time for rehearsals.
He commented: “At the same time, while I’m doing Breakfast it’s very difficult. Imagine my day would be this, do the breakfast show, then go to rehearsals, and then go do The One Show. I’m sorry but I’m too lazy.”
Viewers will get to see 13 celebrities take to the dancefloor on Saturday in week four of Strictly after saying farewell to Nikita Kanda and Les Dennis.
