Ulrika Jonsson hits out at date over comment about her son ‘Shame on you’

Swedish-born Ulrika Jonsson has blasted a man she went on a date with and stated that he should be ‘ashamed’ of his behaviour.

The TV presenter, who has been married three times and has four children, took to Instagram to share that her latest romantic interest was turned off because of her son, Malcolm.

Posting a selfie on her Instagram story, she wrote: “To the ‘mature’ guy who told me after we met that if he’d known I had a 15-year-old son living with me, he ‘maybe’ wouldn’t have met me #shameonyou.”

The star is mum to daughters Bo, 22, and Martha, 19, and sons Cameron, 28, and Malcolm, 15.

Ulrika doesn’t shy away when it comes to her dating life and has been single since 2019 since her divorce from her third husband.

During her sparkling career, she tied the knot with cameraman John Turnbull back in 1990. They divorced five years later.

Shortly after her first marriage collapsed, Ulrika dated Gladiator’s star James Crossley before finding comfort in the arms of ex footballer Stan Collymore.

Her second marriage was in 2003 to Lance Gerrard-Wright who she met on the TV programme, Mr Right. The pair split up in 2006.

Ulrika got her third time lucky and married Brian Monet in 2008 where they enjoyed an 11 year marriage. They share one son, Malcolm.

Recently, Ulrika signed up for the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating in the hope of finding love again.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “Recent ones, I’ve only really had dates, I guess, I’ve not had a relationship with anybody – but the dates have been a little younger, yes.

“They didn’t know I was Ulrika Jonsson, which was great.

“I have made some really good connections, people I have had dates with but who I’ve still stayed in touch with.

“I will make massive changes going forward.”
